Justice Options for Women who are Victims of Violence

What would you do if you were a victim of violence?

Women are often harmed by people they know. Some women are afraid to tell anyone they were abused because they fear for their own safety or worry what will happen to the abuser. Whether the person who hurt you is a stranger or someone you know, the harm done to you is wrong. You have the right to live free from abuse. If someone you know is hurting you, they probably won't stop unless they get some help to make them stop. There are a number of options available in P.E.I. to women who are victims of violence:
